about SCHOCK
Eric Schockmel (aka 'Schock' among friends) left Luxembourg for Brussels to study graphic design and video art at the Ecole de Recherche Graphique between 2002 and 2006, before settling in London. There he is currently enrolled on an
MA course in Communication Design (focused on Digital Media) at Central Saint Martins. His research entails the elaboration of communicative motion graphics,
under the generic title of 'Syscapes'.
Between the odd inspiration-gathering trip to faraway horizons, Schock presently shuttles between Luxembourg, Belgium and the UK, working on personal projects, freelance graphic design work and his new-found interest in real-time video performace sets.
